About the event
Level: Intermediate (Prerequisites: Strong invert on any aerial apparatus, comfortable with leg hooks)
Workshop the foundational mechanics of the flying pole (a grounded orbit, mounting, and controlling momentum) and learn a short, dynamic sequence.
Please wear shorts that are tighter on your body than loose. Any loose clothing has the potential to become stuck on the silicone pole or possibly cause a mild friction burn.
Please no lotions or oil on your body or hands. If you need a little moisture, a water or gel-based lotion like corn huskers, or aloe vera gel can be worn at least 1 hour before class!
No sticky grips. Liquid chalk will be provided.
