Showcase Information

Doors open at 5:40 PM for general admission.

Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door.

Individuals purchasing general admission tickets are welcome to bring a seat cushion or a chair to sit on for the event.

Performers and volunteers do not need to purchase tickets. Email info@sdaerialarts.com if you are interested in volunteering! 

Tables can be purchased for $140.00 and include 6 chairs. Additional chairs can be purchased for $20.00 per chair. Email info@sdaerilarts.com if you are interested!

Sign-up Information:

  • The performance sign-up is currently open

  • Performers can do one solo and one group routine for free. Additional routines are $75.00 to perform.

  • Sign-ups close on August 1, 2026 - Performance team kids do NOT need to sign up to perform, unless they are doing a specialty routine

  • Showcase is limited to 30 total routines. Your spot will only be saved once the following information is submitted:

    • The form below

    • Song submitted (mp3, Ma4) - Spotify/YouTube links do NOT work

    • Completed intro submitted

Dress Rehearsal Dates:

  • For all Kid's Performance Team Members:

    • Solos will be done during their Performance Team session

  • For Kids Group Routines:

    • Will be done in class the week prior to the showcase

  • For Adult Group Routines:

    • Will be done in class the week prior to the showcase - group can also decide to do their group routine during the specified dress rehearsal time

  • For All Adult Solos:

    • MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Wednesday, April 12th at 7 PM

    • If you cannot make this time, please arrange a time with a coach to do your dress rehearsal in costume. This MUST be watched and approved by a coach to confirm your safety and readiness for the performance. This can be done any time after April 10, 2026.

Day-of Performance:

  • Volunteers may arrive as early as 1 hour before their volunteer timeslot

  • Arrive 30 minutes before your performance time

  • Doors will open 20 minutes before the stated performance time for attendees

  • Please come to the studio fully ready for your performance

  • There will be 15-20 minutes after the performance for photos on the apparatus - please do not perform any drops during this time!

Friday Night Flights Showcase

Friday, August 21, 2026 | 6:00 PM

Please fill out the following form to sign up to perform at the Friday Night Flights Showcase with South Dakota Aerial & Arts on August 21, 2026.


All performers confirm that they will attend a designated practice performance time in their costume prior to the performance. Additionally, all individuals MUST be members of South Dakota Aerial & Arts - having either a membership or taken an average of 1 class per week for at least the last 2 months.

Performers are in charge of submitting their own music and intros, with the exception of the Kid's Performance Team and Group Routines. Please submit those items in the form below or email these to info@sdaerialarts.com.
