Aerial & Bungee Event Instructor

About Us: South Dakota Aerial & Arts is a vibrant and creative performance and fitness studio offering aerial silks, bungee fitness, and hoop activities for all ages. We specialize in creating a welcoming and dynamic environment for both classes and parties, inspiring creativity, confidence, and joy through movement.

Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and energetic Small Private Group Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on teaching weekend aerial, bungee, and hoop parties for children and adults, helping create memorable and safe experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and instruct aerial, bungee, and hoop activities for parties and events, ensuring participants have a fun and engaging experience.

Property rig all equipment and be able to safely use the pulley and rigging system for bungee and aerial classes

Provide clear instructions and demonstrations for basic moves and safety procedures.

Follow pre-set lesson plans for aerial parties, as provided by South Dakota Aerial & Arts

Assist in party setup and cleanup, including equipment checks and organization.

Create a positive and supportive environment that promotes confidence and enthusiasm.

Monitor participants to ensure safety and adherence to guidelines.

Collaborate with the team to enhance party offerings and ensure seamless event execution.

Demonstrate quality customer services, take payment and ask for reviews over the course of any given party.

Qualifications:
-
Prior experience in aerial arts, bungee fitness, and hoop preferred. Must have at least 6-months of experience on one of the three apparatuses.

Comfortable working with children and adults in a group setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to provide positive reinforcement and adapt instruction to varying skill levels.

Must be available to work weekends and on an as-needed basis.

Must be 18 years or older.
