Drops & Dynamics (Inter/Advanced Hoop)

This is where strength meets courage.

Service Description

This is where strength meets courage. In this high-level dynamic Lyra workshop, we’ll dive into the world of catch-and-release, controlled chaos, and calculated risk. You’ll explore rolls (think armpit, elbow, and beyond), release moves, and a variety of drops that require serious technique, body awareness, and grit. This is the workshop where the “scary stuff” becomes second nature. We’ll break down each skill with a focus on proper mechanics, safe spotting, and progressive building blocks to ensure confident execution. Expect to challenge your grip, test your timing, and discover the exhilarating edge of what your body can do in the air. Participants must have: A solid, consistent invert The ability to hang from the bar for at least 1 minute At least 3 clean pull-ups A strong pain tolerance (we’re not kidding!) If you’re ready to push past fear, build dynamic power, and unlock jaw-dropping tricks, this is the workshop for you. Meet the Coach: Kristin (@miss__kristen) Kristin brings over 9 years of aerial expertise to the studio, with a deep-rooted passion for Lyra and a love for pushing boundaries in the air. Known for her jaw-dropping spins, dynamic transitions, and creative combos, you may have seen her wild twisting and turning on social media, where she’s built a loyal following of fellow aerialists and fans. A decorated performer, Kristin holds first-place titles in Lyra at both Aerialympics Regionals and Nationals, first place in Trapeze at Aerialympics, and first place at ASCC. She has also proudly competed at Vivafest the past two years, showcasing her continued growth and dedication to the art. When she’s not performing, Kristin is sharing her knowledge through teaching—both in-person at @warpedstudios and internationally. With over five years of experience leading online classes, private coaching, and specialty workshops, she’s known for her detailed instruction, encouraging energy, and ability to unlock new skills in her students. Whether you're working toward technical precision or fearless expression, Kristin brings the perfect balance of challenge and support to help you level up.
