About the event
The Rigging & Pulley Certification is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical training required to safely and correctly rig an aerial apparatus using the equipment and systems available at South Dakota Aerial & Arts (SDAA).
This course focuses on studio specific rigging practices, including proper setup procedures, basic pulley system operation, fundamental load concepts, and equipment awareness. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how to rig an apparatus independently within the SDAA facility, promoting consistency, safety, and informed decision making.
The course is appropriate for aerial students, coaches, and professionals. No prior rigging experience is required. While the instruction is specific to SDAA equipment, the concepts taught are valuable for anyone seeking a stronger foundational understanding of aerial rigging and pulley systems.
This certification is open to both members and non-members.
